Here at Connoisseur our main source of payment accepted is PayPal. It's the easiest way to accept payment from all over the world.
And of course is very secure. If you're not aware of it all you need to send payment is an email address.
At this time we don't accept any other form of electronic payment. Paypal covers the regular cards and you don't need to sign up or register, you can use it as the merchant to buy a one off purchase.

We have recently had quite a few queries asking about no email confirmation after ordering. All payments are processed with paypal. You receive a paypal email transaction and with it a unique transaction number. This is your proof of purchase. Also during checkout you are notified that your payment has gone through.
We deal with the rest, we feel we provide a great service with a fast turnaround. We receive a high volume of orders from all over the world.

We've had a few requests for debit/credit card payments which can also be sent using paypal without needing to sign up.
We cannot as yet accept any card payments any other way.
If you don't have a paypal account or prefer not to use it we can accept payments via the old fashioned way in the form of a UK sterling Postal Order
'Payable to' and other details will be explained when emailing purchase details.
Unfortuantely due to 'bouncing' on a few occasions we do not accept personaal cheques unless absolutely necessary and pre-arranged with us via email.
We do not accept Bank transfers either unless with bulk orders.
Buying our product is easy we have a 'buy now' button setup on any available stock, where you can purchase direct. In the event of stock selling out we will restock items unless stated otherwise/or if they have had several runs.

Postal charges worldwide is free and included in the total price, unless otherwise stated. This includes first class signed for recorded delivery in the UK.
We always strive to ensure a nice fast turnaround with postage. Though we ask you to
please allow around 3-5 days for purchases to be processed and delivered to you.
Unless of course purchased at weekend or Public Holidays/peak time (eg Summer or) PLEASE ALLOW longer during the hectic festive period or in the event where the workload is high, during a Sale or for example the Weir hats release where items have sold out very quickly delays may be expected and out of our hands.

Items are sent out abroad using standard 'International Airmail'. If you want your item sending out recorded/signed for please let us know beforehand as this will be of extra cost to you. We will work it out with the weight and costs involved. Otherwise as stated items are sent out using International Airmail this is free of charge and a standard mail option, there is no tracking number with this.
We cannot be held liable or responsible for any missing items sent abroad.

PLEASE NOTE: All items are sent with Royal Mail and using a Certificate of Bulk Posting Proof with everything we send out.
We are NOT liable for items after we have posted them.
In the event of missing/lost items it is up to the buyer to seek items and or compensation. We post a high volume of items worldwide and mainland Items can be traced via the recorded reference number (UK) and International we have proof we have sent but cannot trace them, standard internaitional airmail doesn't provide a tracking number. Nor can we give a time of how long they will take to arrive. As an extra great service postage is provided FREE and therefore at our own cost.
If you want to have your items sent mainland or abroad using the 'Special Delivery' or' International Signed For' service you can at your own cost.

What are your garment sizes?

Our product is usually always a regular fit and pretty true to size, e.g. Large = 22.5" armpit to armpit, XL = 24 armpit to armpit, See above for more details. All items of clothing are represented by their own size guide on their pages though. We've covered it!

Do you only accept Paypal as a payment?

Paypal is the main payment accepted. Paypal does also cater for bank cards and credit cards. It's very easy and convenient and you don't have to sign up or have an account to use it. It can be used to checkout with a bank card. It is used as the merchant to process payments. If you cannot use paypal we also accept postal/money orders - just email us prior, we can also ship to anywhere in the world.
Unfortunately we do not accept cheques. Again see below for more details.

How do I buy your product?

Online via our site, any in stock item is available to purchase directly with a 'buy now' button. Our tees can also be purchased via any of our current selling partners or stockists subject to their stock availability.

Do you do women's or childrens Tees?

At present there are no plans to develop our designs on to any other tees than stated, ie baby wear or 'skinny fit' tees. We don't get enough demand for this type of tee to currently make it viable. Most of our design work is aimed at the male persuasion or film lover. That's not to say we're being ageist or indeed sexist, if there is a demand for a certain design we'll strive to see what we can do subject to supplier availability.

I live abroad, can I purchase your product?

Absolutely. We'll send our tees out to anywhere in the world. With free postage worldwide. Please see payment details below for more details on costs and postal guides.

Can you supply your product in bulk for sale?

Yes, we currently supply several stores with our tees and are in negotiations with others. We'd be delighted to send our tees out to reach a wider market without going overboard. For details on minimum supply, cost and more details please email us. We have a policy and system in place for store supplies.
Our other product is usually done in very limited quantities and thus available exclusively online through this site.
Where possible we will offer product to our retail parntners.

Why do I not receive a receipt/invoice paperwork?

As stated above we are a 21st Century business operating fully online. We feel the use of paperwork is excessive, time consuming and an unnecessary burden on the environment. It isn't required as most/if not all of the transactions are done via paypal. The paypal transaction is your proof and receipt of purchase. When you check out you are taken to a page which clearly acknowledges your order has been successful. When you check out with paypal you will receive an email notifying you of your order as will we.

We are an entirely self sufficient brand we've never begged nor borrowed everything we do is put back in to expand further with steady growth as we develop new ideas and improve and expand as we go and we're proud of that. Our t-shirts are all professionally screenprinted in Manchester in the UK. Our clothing and accessories are crafted by professionals with many years experience and history in their relevent field. Our range of product is produced in limited quantities where ever possible and produced using the best people where ever it may be ; England, the United States, Europe and the rest of the World, whoever can do it best! We're always looking at new and original ways to develop ourselves as a brand. We are still a work in progress - granted progress has been sharp and swift at times, but we shall continue to expand the Connoisseur brand as we go.

The Casual Connoisseur Ltd leave politics at the door on the way in, we are not affiliated to any other brands or groups or persons unless stated otherwise. Anything that may suggest so is merely coincidental. We have established our brand - our own look and imagery, including our own unique style.
Please beware of pale imitations of the Connoisseur brand which do exist currently, they are not the product we are proud to put our name to.
We do our own thing, we do what we like and we like what we do. Imitation may be the highest form of flattery but it's also pretty annoying.

Why The Casual Connoisseur?
Our name fits, we consider ourselves 'casual' connoisseurs of several interests... over the last few years we have adpated and evolved and you will find us referred to as The Connoisseur brand or quite simply Connoisseur. All our items of clothing do tend to carry the 'Connoisseur' branding.
The Casual Connoisseur is our Limited Company name.
Our name and logo are registered trademarks.

We will refund or exchange an item if required if it is returned in the exact same condition it was delivered within 14 days of purchase. We don't send receipts out with our goods as they are all covered with a Paypal transaction receipt. You also receive an order acknowledgement at checkout.
If purchased from a store please follow their own store policy. We do not accept any returns from or for stores.
You MUST contact us first prior to returning any items. And they must be sent with trackable/proof of postage and
we ask for where they have come from and why, otherwise we won't know.
All items are thoroughly checked prior to shipping so we will not refund items deemed faulty. We cannot accept responsibility for any goods once worn or washed.

Our sizing guide is clearly available to refer to on all items of clothing, we ensure all are measured up and checked and a guide added.
So please ensure you check the sizing prior to order to avoid the inconvenience of returns.
Our care guide is clear and simple - all tees are professionally screenprinted and designed to last so we don't envisage any problems.
All items of clothing we sell is always of a high standard. Our clothing has been hand crafted to our own specifications and tested thoroughly prior to selling.
The Weir hats, can be hand washed or washed on a delicate machine cycle. See also the cagoules and anything else.
Refer to the specific garments washing instructions/care guide or the items page if the garment doesn't carry a label.

Sale or clearance items sold at a reduced rate to clear stocks are non-refundable or exchangeable.
Please be aware if buying reduced stock we do not offer a return policy, we're reducing stock for a limited period at a reduced rate to clear.
PLEASE NOTE : Certain lines maybe sent with standard first class mail if the item is small enough to come in line with
the large letter standard package (ie pin badge set) .
Once again : EVERYTHING WE POST IS DONE SO WITH A' ROYAL MAIL - BULK POSTING CERTIFICATE'. THIS CONTAINS YOUR NAME, HOUSE NUMBER AND POST CODE.

As mentioned above we offer free postage which in the UK is with Recorded Mail and standard mail abroad. Items in the UK do contain a reference/tracking number. Items abroad do not. If you want signed for mail overseas you should contact us first as you will have to pay the costs.

In the rare event an item may go missing or undelivered this is not our responsibility it is up to you to make a claim, we will assist where possible.

We reserve the right to refuse an exchange if we believe it to be in our interests.
Refunds/exchange are at the descretion of ourselves.

Our T-shirts are all professionally screenprinted. the care guide is pretty simple and easy to follow as this method is tough, durable and versatile. However we still recommend for a longer life, less harm on the environment and to keep the best quality of your tee you should wash at 30 degrees, do not tumble dry or dry clean your tees and of course when ironing your tee you should iron on reverse/not directly on the design/motif.
FOR ALL OTHER GARMENTS PLEASE REFER TO THEIR INDIVIDUAL WASHING INSTRUCTIONS. IT'S USUALLY PRETTY CLOSE OR THE SAME. OUR PRODUCT IS MADE TO WEAR. ITEMS WILL WEAR OVER TIME. BUY THEM ENJOY THEM AND WEAR THEM OUT!

Below is a size guide for our T-shirts. Our tees are 'regular' fit (unless otherwise stated) we believe these are the best natural fit and we use a nice heavy premium tee with Oeko Tex standard and 'Confidence in Textiles', we only use tees that are produced with the correct ethics and under fair trade and what we believe are one of the best quality tees out there.

Since June 2011 all t-shirts are the same t-shirt, and thus the same size and fit.
Older releases may differ - where this tee is used if a separate sizing guide will be referred to on the relevent pages *if* it differs.
We've made it simple and given you an easy to follow guide to ensure you pick the correct tee, this guide is featured on all of the t-shirt pages..

We occasionally get asked if we do Childrens or Womens t-shirts, in exceptional circumstances this may be possible, but as our t-shirts are produced using the best style permanent screenprint it means screens are setup and thus tend to cater more for the gentleman size. As a rule and guideline the demand is to stick with what sells and as such we work within a set system currently. There are no plans at present to release either.

As we evolve and progree further, there are more items of clothing options available - as above,
everything we release will have a size guide added where it is applicable.
